HERBALIST, FORAGER, TANNER

Liv has always had a strong affinity to the natural world, indigenous communities, ancestral skills and ethnobotany and now natural movement and dance. She has adventured across and wild camped in counties such as France, Spain, Morocco, India, Turkey, Ukraine and Peru as well as the British Isles, cycling across England, Wales and Ireland, foraging wild plants and roadkill. She’s raised sheep and planted trees, grown vegetables and lives off grid. She hopes we can all regain the wilderness and resilience to thrive and once more to have land and food sovereignty. 

Her further education began with an AS in ceramics(A*) then onto a L3 Diploma in holistic therapies, including; Swedish massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, Indian head massage, Antomy & Physiology.

Completed fitness instructing with a view to study sports massage & personal training. Liv has been studying belly dance for over ten years  and has been awarded the JWAAD – safe to teach belly dance. she has been teaching tribal fusion belly dance locally since jan 2020.

Whilst living in Bristol Liv studied the Permaculture design course. a year long Wild Medicine with Rhyzome clinic and a year long Wild Food course with Ffyona Campbell. She also attended two tannery courses with OAK & SMOKE. Liv completed a week long basic skills with LYNX VILDEN; which lead her to working on the hearth team (cooking & support) the the year long course “The Old Way” in Devon.

Liv has worked as a bushcraft instructor for :THE BUSHCRAFT COMPANY, a gardener, assistant manager for a charity shop and for the “REWILD PROJECT” as a forager, tanner, wild meat instructor, Chainsaw operative for the women’s coppice team, gardener and bushcraft instructor assistant as well as supporting other tutors to run their courses as support staff.
