Amy grew up in the Forest of Dean and has deep connection with the landscape.

Amy spent five years as an Army Cadet Instructor, becoming a key instructor for Cadet Force Music, teaching both military subjects and music to young people from across the UK. 

Amy's time as an army spouse has fostered a deep belief in community, it brings empowerment and support  that she believes are much needed in todays' society.

Amy has been involved with the bushcraft community for 10 years, volunteering at festivals and events, taking part in gatherings and writing for The Bushcraft Journal Magazine.

Amy's passion is events, with 10 years experience in the industry, Amy returned to formal education in 2017 to complete a BSc in Events Management at The University of Gloucestershire.  She loves to organise and has been working full time in the Rewild logistics team since July 2019.

Amy is Co-founder and organiser of The Great Outdoors Festival, a festival designed to make the outdoors more accessible and inspire more people to take part in outdoor activities.
